The Security Service of Ukraine detained the suspects. This is stated in the message of the force department on Wednesday, March 27. SBU staff conducted special operations in Kiev and Odessa. They detained two FSB agents who were preparing rocket strokes on the military units of the Defense Forces and Energy Objects, as well as telecommunications facilities in three regions.

"In the area of ​​special attention of agents there were army units that provide protection of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, data on the forces of defense in Poltava region, as well as the Kiev TV tower and the Capital TPP," the SBU reported. The persons tried to find the places of basement of Ukrainian troops and then send the appropriate coordinates to the occupiers to adjust the air attacks.

For this purpose, one of the agents settled a freight forwarder in the Odessa company that supplies food to the defense units. Another person involved - collecting information about the technical condition of the Kiev TV tower after its shelling in March 2022. The man also photographed the appearance of one of the thermal power plants, which provides electricity and heat to a large part of the capital region.

The SBU staff exposed the intelligence activity of men in a timely and step -by -step documentary. Both defendants were caught "in the hot" at the final stage, when they were spying on potential "goals" for the occupiers. According to the investigation, one of the suspects was the engineer-technologist of the food industry of Odessa. The other is a 24-year-old Kiev. At the end of January 2024, they were remotely recruited by the FSB staff in Moscow and the Moscow region.

Investigators of the Security Services informed both persons about suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They are threatened with life imprisonment. We will remind, on March 26 the SBU detained two residents of Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, who tried to undermine the FSB to undermine the railway connection between the central and eastern regions of Ukraine.
