Left without "eye": the Armed Forces knocked down Russian Razum-10 drone under raisins (video)

The military got into an enemy drone, released from the Stinger Complex. The fighters of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Cold Yar" were shot down by the Russian reconnaissance drone "Orlan" in the Izium district of Kharkiv region. The unit has been posted on Facebook. Soldiers from the Anti-aircraft missile artillery division were hit by the Orlan-10 from the portable complex "Stinger" from a distance of 3 km.

The rockets to it are equipped with a thermal imaging or two -diabetes, which tracks goals in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrum. Returning around its axis, they can adjust the flight direction depending on the movement of the object. The maximum range of lesions is 8 km. Later, the Fighters of the Armed Forces found a place of the fall of a hostile drone and collected everything that remained from him.

As shown in the roller, from the explosion the module with the camera completely burned, as well as the body, but the engine remained virtually intact. "Orlan-10" is a Russian reconnaissance drone that is considered the most massive in the army of the Russian Federation. They are the "eyes" of the Armed Forces of Russia, because they pass images from infrared cameras to artillerymen, helping them aim and conduct accurate fire on Ukrainian positions.

According to the US Army, the cost of one unit is from $ 87 to $ 120 thousand, but Russians often save on accessories. Earlier they wrote that the Russians protected the UAV "Orlan-10" with foil and adhesive tape, which were applied to the cheap GPS module-the most important element for navigation. Experts disassembled one of the dropped drones in Ukraine and revealed its shortcomings. Later, the Armed Forces was knocked down by the Russian drone "Orlan-10" with a bottle instead of a tank.
