Russia wants to "freeze the conflict" to prepare for the second round of war - Podolyak

The adviser to the chairman of the OP explained that the calls of foreigners to stop fire in Ukraine are profitable of the Russian Federation, because it is one of the tools of achieving the plan of Moscow. The Kremlin seeks to freeze the conflict to restore the strength and start the "second round" of the Russian-Ukrainian war. On June 20, the adviser to the Presidential Office Mikhail Podolyak stated on social networks.

"Russia's strategic task today is to achieve" freezing conflict "at any cost," he wrote. According to the official, one of the elements of preparation for escalation should be a presidential election in Russia, which will take place in 2024. Having strengthened his regime, Vladimir Putin, according to Podolyak, will restore attempts to seize Ukrainian lands.

"Further-ensuring internal stabilization through Putin's cementing (elections-24), restoration of military potential, destabilization of Europe and preparation for the second round of the war,"-said the adviser to the chairman of the OP. He assured that he understands the tools of the Russian Federation to implement the plan.

The post states that the Kremlin will apply daily statements about allegedly readiness, relevant initiatives from "third countries", reports of the media about the alleged failure of the Armed Forces counter -offensive, nuclear blackmail and calls in European countries to stop the war. "Calls for ceasefire is a game of someone else's game with Russian cards," Podolyak added.
