Ukraine needs a long -range weapon not only for offensive operations, but also for defense - President

Without a long -range weapon, it is difficult not only to move on the battlefield and release the territory from the Russian invaders, but also to perform defensive actions, because the enemy remains an advantage in distance. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a meeting with media representatives as a result of negotiations with the Czech Prime Minister Peter Fiala in Prague.

“Without a long -range weapon, it is difficult not only to perform an offensive mission - it is difficult to carry out a defense operation. This indicates that you will defeat your land and cannot reach the appropriate distance to destroy your enemy. That is, the enemy has a remote advantage. That is why it is important, I would say so, not only for the offensive, but also for the defensive actions of our military, ”the Head of State said.
