The Russian Federal Supervision Service (Roskomnadzor) reported a large -scale leakage of data from the Russians in 2025 - over 500 million records. About it writes the site of newspaper. ru "There are only 510 million, 500 of them - this is one leak. We will investigate it now," - said the deputy chairman Roskomnadzor Milos Wagner.

According to the Russian official, this year the number of cases of compromising data has increased sharply, with the amount of such leaks decreased compared to 2023 and 2022. In general, Roskomnadzor recorded 19 origins for the first two months of 2024. In 2023 there were 68 cases of compromising personal data, with only about 300 million records of Russians. The deputy head of Roskomnadzor Milos Wagner recalled new requirements for working with the personal data of the Russians. Earlier it became known that the Telegram found a bot to find out the personal data of the Russians. We would like to remind you that almost a year ago, hackers published a database of Roskomnadzor itself. The data included correspondence and telephone directories of employees.

The Kiborg News project then noted that it has not been planning to publish the details of the personal life of the Roscomnad Administrator, such as drug commitment and marital betrayal. But hackers spoke about the main areas of activity of the department, such as correction of history, manipulation of facts, creation of a dossier on opposition media, the struggle of cancellation of blocking Instagram accounts Ramzan Kadyrov and other similar tasks.
