Thousands of luxurious cars were imported into Ukraine during a full -scale war - statistics

To spread: For 2022-2024, more than 12 thousand luxurious cars were imported to Ukraine. Their total cost is UAH 55 billion. Such statistics were published in her Telegram-channel by the People's Deputy, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Finance Nina Yuzhanin. She received the data from the State Customs Service in response to a deputy's request. Expensive cars worth from $ 70,000 (excluding taxes) were imported 12 090.

Of this amount: the number of car imported cars is increasing from year to year. In 2022 they were imported 2300, in 2023 - 4852, and in 2024 - already 4938. It is noteworthy that nearly 1000 luxury cars imported last year were electric cars. Their total cost is $ 90 million. VAT funds have not been sent to the state budget when importing these cars, since electric vehicles in Ukraine are currently exempted from this tax.
