Ukraine can take place during a UN Conference on Climate Change, which will take place in November in Dubai. The publication suggests that the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamad Ben Zaid is already working on the "Organization of a meeting of Russian Presidents Vladimir Putin and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky at the request of Pope Francis.
" On the eve of The New York Times reported that over the last year, Mohammad Ben Zaid had traveled to Putin to Russia twice, and in June 2023 the UAE was a "honorary guest" at the Main Investment Forum of the aggressor country. NYT noted that US officials "could not persuade Sheikh Mohammed to join US foreign policy, especially in restricting China's military ties and isolation after invasion of Ukraine.
