Society must understand the meaning of our defense operations, the true meaning. Today, I directly asked the question to both Khortytsia Commander General Sirsky and the Zaluzhny Chief of Zaluzhny about what they see the defensive operation in the Bakhmut direction. Whether to go or continue defense and intensify in the city.

Both generals replied: not to depart and intensify. And this position was unanimously supported by the rate. There were no other positions. I told the head to find the right strength to help the guys in Bakhmut. There is no such particle of Ukraine to say that it can be abandoned. There is no such Ukrainian trench in which the stability and heroism of our fighters would be allegedly invaluable. The occupier kills the fact that we are Ukrainians. Only a word about Ukraine. For our lives, the lives of Ukrainians. And we destroy the occupier everywhere - everywhere where it gives results for Ukraine. Bakhmut gave and produces one of the greatest results during this war, throughout the battle for the Donbas. And I thank every soldier who is fighting in this most difficult direction. Who is fighting for all parts of our country in all directions. We will defend and defend every part of Ukraine. The time will come - let's release every city, every village of our country.

And forcing the occupier to respond for every shot against Ukraine, for every meanness against Ukrainians. If we can legally, then legally. Weapons - so weapons. Due to our unity, thanks to our determination, due to the fact that we appreciate the whole of Ukraine and every Ukrainian, we know the result of this war. From the first days of the war we know.
