More than 100 departments per day: why the destruction of aircraft did not stop the activity of the Russian Federation in Ukraine

The Russians intensified operations in the sky, as "more aggressive" air support of the enemy helped them move in the East of Ukraine, told analysts of the Institute of War. Russian bombers continue to cause a large number of air strikes in Ukraine. This was reported by analysts of the Institute of War Study in the daily report for March 5. Analysts noted that the Russians have continued attacks after the Ukrainian military has knocked down several bombers in recent weeks.

Forbes on March 4 reported that Russian Su-34 aircraft, accompanied by Su-35 sides, are made a hundred or more departures a day to cause air strikes at Ukrainian positions at a distance of about 40 kilometers. On March 5, the New York Times noted that the tactics of Russians change to increase operations in the air, in particular the "more aggressive" air support of the invaders on the front line helped the army of the Russian Federation advance in eastern Ukraine.

"These reports indicate that Russian PKS keeps high air missions in Ukraine and are likely to endure risks for aircraft because the Russian command may have decided that the positive consequences of such air operations are dominated by costs associated with fulfilling such missions, " - the message reads.

The Russians used planning bomb blows for tactical effect in the capture of Avdiivka of Donetsk region in mid -February and probably try to repeat this effect for current offensive operations in other areas of the front. We will remind, on March 4 it became known that high losses of aviation of the Russian Federation could lead to a decrease in the activity of enemy aircraft in eastern Ukraine.
