The Russian opposition edition "Project" published its investigation under the name "The Mystery of the Putin Security", dedicated to the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov and his wife, the head of Orthodox non -profit organizations Olena Milska, who is involved in the export of Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories.

According to the investigation, in May 2022, Alexander Kurenkov was appointed Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, changing Yevgeny Zinichev in this position, who died in the fall of 2021 near Norilsk. Both are former staff of the Federal Security Service (FSO) and were previously personal adjutants of Vladimir Putin.

Before his service in the FSO, Kurenkov worked as a physical education at a Moscow school, at the same time he has a diploma of a non-state Moscow Psychological and Social Institute. There was no information about the marital status of the current head of the Ministry of Emergencies in his biography, but journalists found that he was married to Elena Milsk. They officially married in December 2019, and this became known from the marriage document at Moscow Kutuzovsky RAGS.

Elena Milska's initial career path is connected with the Orthodox oligarch and creator of the Tsargrad channel Konstantin Malofeev, says sources close to the publication. Since 2014, Milsk has been the head of the Archangel Michael Fund, which has been missing "supporting Russia's cultural and spiritual traditions that contribute to the strengthening of statehood.

" It also holds the position of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Assistance Center for the missing and victims of children since December 2014. From 2017 to 2019, she worked at the St. Basil the Great Foundation, created by Konstantin Malofeev. The organization was included in the sanction list of Ukraine, according to Malofeev, through "assistance to children of Crimea".

The Fund's staff also founded the League of Safe Internet, known for their reports to musicians and bloggers. Kateryna Mizulina, the daughter of Senator Elena Mizulina, heads this organization, and Milska is a member of her guardian council. According to the Investigation of the Project, Olena Milska owns a luxurious land and a house of a total area of ​​about a thousand square meters in the cottage village "Rozdory-2" on Rublevsky highway.

The cost of this property is estimated at about 600 million rubles. The house is located next to the residence of Barviy-3, which belongs to the head of the Ministry of Emergencies. The "project" found that organizations controlled by Milsk are actively receiving generous state contracts.

According to the investigation, in just two months after the appointment of Kurenkov by the Head of the Ministry of Emergencies, an agreement was concluded with the National Monitoring Center of Assistance to the missing and affected children, which is governed by the Minister's wife. This organization received budget financing worth 600 million rubles. The Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Media have actively PRIR MIKA activities.

In the fall of 2022, news reports appeared on Russian TV channels, in which Kurenkov visited refugee camps in Rostov and Belgorod regions. In these materials, the participants of the NKO Milk were lit, and the MOE head identified their activities as an example of refugee support.

However, some sources close to volunteer organizations that have previously cooperated with the NGOs of Milsk stated that for the Milk National Center for Assistance to Children is only a cover for its economic and political activity. These sources also claim that the Ministry of Emergencies blocks the activities of other NGOs, including search units that are not included in the scope of the National Center.

The organization of Milsk is also related to the export of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories to Russia. Together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the NCO volunteers of Milskaya participated in the removal of children from the Kherson region to the Krasnodar region in October 2022 before surrendering the city of Kherson by Russian military.
