"Promotion of troops is complicated": NATO was urged not to condemn the Armed Forces for slowing the counter -offensive

According to Admiral Rob Bauer, Russia has created powerful fortifications, trenches, anti -transport barriers and other obstacles, which contributes to the slowdown in the Armed Forces. Ukraine has the right to act with caution during the counter -offensive, since the promotion of troops is complicated through mines and other obstacles. This was stated by the head of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer, Reuters reports.

"The Armed Forces face defensive obstacles of depth sometimes up to 30 kilometers. It took 7-10 weeks to overcome the fortifications of the Germans during the Second World War," Bauer said. He added that Ukrainian forces should not be pressured or criticized for not acting faster. The satellite images made in April showed that Russia had created powerful fortifications, trenches, anti-transport barriers and other obstacles to slow down any Ukraine's promotion.
