Historical signal and the greatest conflict: how the world reacted to a warrant about Putin's arrest (video)

Most countries and international organizations have expressed their support to Ukraine and noted that the issuance of a warrant for the arrest of Vladimir Putin is a historical solution. Serbia President Alexandrandar Vuchich disagrees with them, who believes that such a decision of the International Court in the Hague will lead to escalation worldwide. On Friday, March 17, the International Criminal Court in the Hague issued a warrant for the arrest of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Both the military-political leadership of Ukraine and representatives of the Russian Federation-the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, spokesman of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, as well as the propagandist-propagandist Margarita Simonian, have already responded to this event. For his part, the focus has gathered the reaction of world politicians and international organizations to the news of the document for the arrest of the head of state-aggressor.

The representative of the Head of the General Assembly by the UN Polina Kubiak assured that the decision of the International Criminal Court on the issuance of a warrant to take care of the Russian politician will in no way affect the status of Russia itself in the organization. Kubiak stressed that the ISS is a separate structure that the UN chairman does not control.

The EU Supreme Representative Josep Borrel believes that the precedent of bringing Vladimir Putin to justice will be a number of criminal cases against those representatives of Russian military and political leadership who are guilty of crimes committed and committed in Ukraine. In particular, he mentioned the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children into the territory of the Russian Federation.

Borrel also stressed that the politician will bear individual responsibility for all crimes related to full -scale aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. ICS Chief Prosecutor Karim Ahmad Khan said that despite the court's decision to imprison the presidential of Russia, the International Criminal Court itself intends to interact with the Russian Federation.

"I will continue to seek cooperation by the Russian Federation in the issue of the situation in Ukraine and ensure that my office fulfill its duties under Article 54 of the Roman Statute," he said. The statement of further interaction with the Russian Federation Karim Ahmad Khan explained that the ISS is considering in parallel several more cases of crimes to which the Russian Federation is involved. In particular, it is about killing Russian civilians in Bucha in February-March 2022.

"We will unhealthily submit new petitions for arresting orders when the evidence is required," he summarized. Serbia President Alexander Vuchich believes that the decision of the International Criminal Court against the Russian leader provokes the greatest conflict in human history. The politician stated that when he heard the news about the order of the arrest of the President of the Russian Federation, he tried to answer the question "what to do Serbia" in such a situation.

However, he did not find the entrance from this situation. According to Vuchich, after such a decision, the ISS can only be further escalation. "I ask myself whether someone will not be able to finish it, and whether someone understands the consequences," said President of Serbia. Vuchich also stated that imprisonment of the Kremlin head is an additional pressure on countries that, despite the sanctions, continue to cooperate with the Russian Federation. As an example, he cited Turkey and Hungary.

"They (Western European countries - ed. ) Everyone finds a signal that everyone who thinks somehow to" flirt "with President Putin, in general, to talk or think about Russia will have serious, very serious consequences," said Serbia leader. Latvia Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevich wrote on his tweet that he approves the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to issue a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Putin.

The head of the profile ministry stressed that there should be no impunity for those who violate international law. Estonia Prime Minister Kai Callas said that with the decision of the ISS, the decision on the arrest of the President of the Russian Federation was one step closer to the judgment.

The head of the Estonian government called the warrant for the arrest of Putin a "historical signal" that all the atrocities committed by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine were a consequence of criminal actions of the military-political leadership of the aggressor country. "We remind that no one is immune, not even the heads of state. The Russian regime will be held accountable," - wrote on her page in Tweet Callas.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vopke Gucstra said that it would do everything possible for the International Court to be safe and independently fulfilled this difficult task (investigation of crimes related to the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war-ed. ) The region also expressed its attitude to the issuance of the ISS on the arrest of the Russian leader.

Thus, the temporary acting of the "unrecognized" republic of the DNR "Denis Pushilin believes that the decision of the ISS on Putin only consolidates his supporters. Pushilin also stated that China, India, Iran, Israel and the United States would not have been given no value for Putin's arrest.

In addition, the so -called "senator" of the unrecognized "DNR" Natalia Nikonorov in general stated that for quasi -republic the decision of the International Criminal Court has no importance and consequences. We will remind, on March 17 it became known how in Ukraine and the Russian Federation reacted to the court decision in the Hague to the arrest of Vladimir Putin.

In Russia, it was quite predictable that they did not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in the Hague. In Ukraine, they called the court's decision historical, noting that criminals should be responsible for the abduction and export of 16,000 Ukrainian children. We also informed how in the Russian Federation reacted to the ISS decision on the arrest of Putin.
