Abrams, Leopard, F-35 and Himars: a large-scale military parade (video) took place in Poland

The parade was attended by about 2000 Polish servicemen, about 200 units of military equipment and almost 100 aircraft. On Tuesday, August 15, the first military parade was held in Poland in the framework of the celebration of the Polish Armed Forces Day. About it writes the Polish portal RMF24. It is reported that about 2000 servicemen and about 200 units of military equipment and almost a hundred aircraft took part in the parade.

The Rosomak BTR was demonstrated in various modifications, self-propelled mortars, Krab and K9 guns, Himars jet installations, Leopard, K2 and Abrams tanks, Patriot, F-16, FA-50, F-35 and other equipment. "It's something wonderful-to try it live," eyewitnesses who came to a parade from the Western Poor Voivodeship told reporters. Polish President Andrzej Duda made a speech stressed on the importance of modernizing the army.

The Polish leader noted that today the Polish army has more than 175 thousand soldiers. "We draw conclusions from the war on our eastern border. We modernize the system of armed forces management," the President said. Andrzej Duda also reminded that on August 15, Poland was celebrating the victory over Soviet Russia, won in 1920. According to him, this event was of great importance to all of Europe, as it stopped the spread of the Communist Revolution to the West.

"Polish soldiers changed the course of history, they defended the whole of Europe," Duda summed up. Recall that the military parade in Poland has become the largest in recent decades. Experts believe that Poland demonstrates the power of the Russian Federation and Belarus. In addition, Warsaw throws another thousand soldiers on the eastern border because of the concern of the presence of Wagner PEC in Belarus.
