PS spokesman Yuri Ignat on November 13 on the air of the National Telernado "One News" told whether he had information about the transfer of this bomber from Poland. According to him, reports of flights of Polish SU-17 (or Su-22) over military armed forces cannot yet be confirmed. "They are very fond of guessing the coffee grounds. The air forces are considering different options . . . There is no such information about Su-22 or SU-17," Yuri Ignat said.
He reported that the SU-17 bomber is a Soviet aircraft and is indeed in service with the Republic of Poland. This aircraft can be used for rocket attacks and the transfer of other weapons. The spokesman told him that Ukraine was negotiating with partners to transfer all types of aviation weapons, including various types of helicopters and aircraft.
