A released prisoners of war told how Russians hide crimes from the Red Cross

In a few years, representatives of the Red Cross and human rights activists came to Ukrainian prisoners of war. However, the Russian prosecutor from the region visited them almost every week. However, visits were unsuccessful for Ukrainians - they were not informed about regular torture. Five prisoners of war, who had traces of the true attitude of the Russians on their face, were closed in a separate chamber where no one was allowed.

"We were prepared for the Red Cross before the visit of the Red Cross. We were whitewashed in the chamber, giving out the blinds in the toilet, pants. Each camera was brought to one book and the game, however, then took it all away. The warders told us how we should go. The prisons knew that the Red Cross would be offered to write letters close. However, prisoners of war were threatened so that only two of the camera agree. Ukrainians had to give up their relatives to avoid consequences.

Violence was regular, at least five prisoners were killed: someone - from torture, and someone - because of refusal of medical care. There have been numerous cases where Ukrainians had tuberculosis in captivity, but no one was treated.
