The portal gave three questions that journalists asked Robert Fitzo during a government press conference in the town of Kamenitsa-Nadi-Syrohou. After answering them, the politician curtained communication with the media and went away, reads in the article. In the first question, Fitzo was interested in why he planned to meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine in Uzhgorod, not in Kiev. According to the Slovak Prime Minister, he "just answered the invitation" and there are no other explanations.
After that, the journalists decided to clarify whether the politician would like to visit Kiev, to see how people live there. Fitzo said in response that there is a normal life in the capital of Ukraine and he does not see war there. "And you really think that there is a war in Kiev? You are not serious, I hope . . . there is a completely normal life," the journalists of the word politician quoted.
Finally, the media representative wondered what part of Slovakia Fitzo could give in to the aggressor country, given his proposals for peacekeeping in Ukraine. The Prime Minister refused to visit the question, at the same time stated that the owner of this media was like "Soros". Journalists reported that the politician stopped answering questions and "left the department".
It should be noted that Kamenitsa-Nad-Syrohou is a town in Slovakia, located 20 km from the border of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region. The region was first hit by a rocket of the Russian Federation in May 2022 - flew to the village of Volovets 54 km from Uzhgorod, where Fitzo will soon meet with a representative of Ukraine. It should be noted that Fitzo became the Prime Minister of Slovakia in the fall of 2023.
The politician returned to the post for the fourth time, although in the media they talk about the results of journalistic investigations that associate him with criminal offenses. Upon coming to power, the politician stated that he wanted peaceful agreements of Ukraine and Russia, and it was that the occupied territories remain in occupation.
