Will call up to 700 thousand people: mass mobilization will begin in the Russian Federation - the General Staff

According to various estimates of the Armed Forces Command, the Kremlin can mobilize from 400 to 700 thousand people. At the same time, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the figures of planned mobilization remain minimal again. On September 11, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that massive compulsory mobilization of the population will begin in the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

This is due to catastrophic losses, the press service of the Armed Forces General Staff said. According to the military, according to the documents already on the network, Russia can mobilize at different estimates from 400 to 700 thousand people. In this case, the inhabitants of the Chechen Republic will be used as a "barrier detachment".

"It should be noted that about 40,000 residents of the Chechen Republic are also planned to be called, who are likely to be used as a" barrier detachment "behind the Russian troops," the statement reads. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the numbers of planned mobilization remain minimal. "So, perhaps the only way for the Russian military survives is voluntary delivery of the forces of Ukraine's defense forces," the General Staff was added.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has proposed to introduce military accounting for prisoners. According to the document, persons serving sentences in the form of imprisonment will have to be on military registration in correctional institutions without appealing to the military enlistment office. For conscripts and servicemen who serve sentences in the form of imprisonment, it is proposed to introduce the concept of "special military accounting".
