Other fighters of the 425th Regiment, including the 48-year-old fighter with the call sign "Ecologist", came to the rescue of blocked operators. Together with two comrades, he entered the battle, while other groups used drones to support. "According to their emphasis, it was clear that it was DRG.

Our boys were in the basement, and they were in the yard. I did not think whether or not to go - if they did not have time, the boys would have died," - said the serviceman. During the combat episode, the FPV drones attacked saboteurs, forcing them to hide in one of the buildings. This made it possible for Ukrainian fighters to get closer and throw the enemy with grenades.

After the DRG subsided, the fighters evacuated from the basement of two UAV operators and brought them to a safe zone under the cover of drones. The "militant" observers noted that Russian forces regularly use DRG for operations in the Ukrainian rear, in particular in the north, penetrating across the border. However, such attacks continue in the area of ​​active fighting.

In December 2023, the forces of special operations of the Armed Forces were liquidated by the Russian DRG, which tried to penetrate the Sumy region through the settlement of Miropillya. The saboteurs discovered the Ukrainian reconnaissance drone, after which they were destroyed by shock UAVs. Ukrainian forces also actively use sabotage tactics.
