Judging by the video from open sources, the new SAU was created on the basis of the armored chassis of the Bryansky Automobile Plant of Base-6010-027 with a wheel formula 8*8. The same design is used on howitzer 2C43 "Malva". The Russian SAU has a similar with "mallow" layout and guidance system, but the artillery part is still different, according to the analysts of "militaristic".
The new self-propelled installation has received an artillery part from a long-range gun 2A36 "Hyacint-B" instead of 152 mm howitzer 2A64. This increased the maximum range of SAU fire with conventional fragmentation ammunition from 24. 7 to 30. 5 kilometers and jet shells from 29 to 33. 1 kilometers. In addition to reservation, the machine is protected by staffing anti -water screens and a system of EWS.
Expert in armored vehicles Andriy Tarasenko notes that SAU uses not a new artillery part on the basis of howitzer 2A36, but is installed on a new chassis with a gun "Hyacinth-B". Despite the same caliber of 152 mm in other Soviet and post -Soviet guns, systems based on howitzer 2A36 are not compatible with ammunition.
