The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation declared promotion near Kharkiv, but the supply line is vulnerable before the Armed Forces - ISW

Russian troops who operated in the Volchansk direction complained that they could not quickly receive ammunition on the front line. The General Staff of the Armed Forces confirms that the offensive actions of the invaders continue in the Volchansk and Starytsya area. Russian troops are trying to push the forces of Ukraine's defense from the international border with the Belgorod region and approach Kharkiv within the reach of the artillery.

On May 20, the offensive (northeast of Kharkiv) continued, but no front line change was confirmed. About it reports "Institute of War Study" in the summary of May 20. Russian troops declare the advance of 200-400 meters in the area of Liptsi Kharkiv region and seizure of a suburban area north of the settlement. The Russian source reported that Russian troops also advanced in the area of green (east of Lipts). But the ISW did not find visual confirmations.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that Russian troops continue offensive actions in the Lipts and Green. At the same time, Russian troops have recently been reasoned in the Volchansk region against the background of offensive operations in the area on May 20. Geolored footage for May 18 show that Russian troops have recently advanced in the center of Vovchansk north of the Vovcha River.

According to the Russian military, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation advanced in the Vovchansk direction by 150-600 meters. The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that Russian troops continue offensive actions in the Volchansk and Starytsia (southwest of Vovchansk). The Russian troops stated that positional battles are ongoing in the Starytsya area and bugwat.

Sources from the Russian Federation also claim that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which operated in the Vovchansk direction, complained that the open terrain of the area did not allow to quickly deliver Russian ammunition to the front line. It is probably implied that Russian supply lines that take place with open terrain are vulnerable to Ukrainian blows. We will remind that the troops of the Russian Federation advanced in the area of Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
