The President's office discussed the deepening of cooperation with researchers of weapons supply chains to the Conflict ArmAntaarch warfare zones

Advisor - Presidential Presidential Policy Commissioner Vladislav Vlasyuk held a delegation of the British Organization of Conflict Armament Research (CAR), which monitors the supply of weapons, ammunition and military equipment used in hostilities in different parts of the world. The main topic of discussion is the further development of cooperation for the study of ways that bypassing sanctions to Russia, Iran and North Korea are components used for weapons.

Vladislav Vlasyuk noted that Ukraine is working to increase its own capabilities for complex research of components that are found in the means of lesions used by the Russian Federation for attacks on our country. Obtaining this information is very important for increasing sanction pressure on Russia, other countries involved and their companies.

After all, each investigation helps identify specific companies and supply routes, which is then reflected in the sanctions lists, is used to enhance export control. The list of critical components that apply additional export control and sanctions has increased in three years from 20 to 50 points. Director of Car Expeditionary Operations Damien Spliters stressed that the war in Ukraine and assistance to our country remain a priority for its organization.

The participants of the meeting noted that the sanctions are losing access to proven supply chains. There is an increase in the number of facts of the use of counterfeit components for the production of weapons, which affects their quality. It is also necessary to work with the manufacturers themselves and promptly convey information that the supply of their products can be a violation of the sanction regime and to be used by aggressors to create weapons.
