Kyiv has to evaluate its goals realistically: the Czech President has made a forecast for war in Ukraine

According to Peter Paul, some of the Ukrainian lands can be under Russian occupation and this can last for years. President of the Czech Republic, Peter Pavel, who previously supported and assisted Ukraine, said that Kiev must admit that some territories may remain under the control of Russia, at least "temporarily". About it reports The New York Time.

The Czech President notes that the friendly populist leaders, such as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, undermine European unity through the war, and fatigue fatigue "increases everywhere". That is why Ukraine "will have to realistically evaluate" its prospects for the return of the territories occupied by Russia.

"The most likely result of the war will be that part of the Ukrainian territory will be temporarily under Russian occupation," Petr Paul added, emphasizing that such a "temporary phenomenon" can take years. In his opinion, neither of the parties - neither Ukraine nor Russia - can count on the achievement of maximum goals in the war.

For Ukraine, goals are to return to the entire territory, including Crimea, and Russia will be impossible to achieve Ukraine's legal refusal of Ukraine to which Moscow claims. We will remind that on September 18 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted the readiness of the Victory Plan in the war against Russia. He added that all the points and key accents of the Victory Plan have already been processed.
