These injuries were identified by experts of the Chief Bureau of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Health on July 9. The previous examination recorded hemorrhage on different parts of the body and a broken edge. Despite the new facts, the cause of the girl's death has not yet been established.

"At the time of examination, the body of Roshina is in a state of pronounced cadaveric changes with a violation of the tissue structure, which does not allow to establish the cause of death and to relate it with injuries," she explained.

Earlier, French experts have selected biological samples from Victoria, but there are no results of the study. In Ukraine, the forensic medical-criminalist examination continues.

According to the newspaper, the National Police conducted a series of interrogations in the case of illegal maintenance and murder in the Russian Federation of Victoria Roshchina on the circumstances of Roshchina's stay in prison places in Russia, in particular in the Taganrog of the Rostov region and the city of Taganrog of Rostov region. Investigators are currently establishing a number of persons involved in torture and killings.

They are threatened by life imprisonment under the article "Civil Care, which caused the death of a person. " Victoria Roshchyna disappeared on August 3, 2023 in the occupied territory in eastern Ukraine. Later, the SBU and then the Russians confirmed that it was captured. Earlier, the journalist was already captured, but was released. Last Victoria Roshchyna was seen on September 8, 2024, when she was removed from the camera.

According to the official version of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, it died on September 19, 2024. On December 10, 2024, the Coordinating Headquarters for the Defense of Prisoners confirmed the death of a 27-year-old journalist in Russia. On April 24, 2025, it became known that the journalist's body was returned to Ukraine with numerous traces of torture on the body.

For its part, Forbidden Stories investigators reported that it was handed over in February, during the exchange of bodies of 757 dead defenders. The body number 757 was marked in the documents of the Russian side as an "unidentified male person" and contained an incomprehensible mark: Savior. The investigative group said that the journalist's body was brought to Ukraine with signs of opening, which was conducted in the Russian Federation. The review showed that some internal organs were absent.

In particular, the brain, eyeballs, as well as part of the trachea. The international pathological expert, which was addressed by the authors of Viktoriia Project, believes that the absence of these organs could hide the fact that death came as a result of strangulation. Such concealment of the cause of death can be qualified as a war crime. Earlier, Focus wrote that the former prisoners told about the place where they kept Roshna before his death.
