To extend: attempts to cross the border of Ukraine and fix themselves in the village of Basivka of Sumy region were unsuccessful thanks to the coordinated actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Currently, the settlement is completely under the control of the Armed Forces. Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on the air of Kyiv24. "The enemy does not stop his misinformation campaign and continues to attempt to penetrate our territory.

The tactics of the enemy remains unchanged - these are small assault groups that try to cross the border. Sometimes we notice such groups that use quad bite for breakthrough," Demchenko said. According to him, the Russian military is trying to penetrate such vehicles deeper into the territory of Ukraine. "This also applies to the direction of Basivka, where the enemy tries to accumulate forces, fixes and expect reinforcement for further attacks.

However, Basivka is under the full control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine," he added. Defenders of Ukraine confidently hold positions not only in this direction, but also in other areas where the enemy tries to break through. "Our fighters from the State Border Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine effectively destroy the enemy - both groups trying to cross the border and those who are approaching the border," Demchenko emphasized.

He also noted that the enemy's attempts to expand the war zone across the border line within the Sumy region. "It is more than 530 kilometers. We must be ready to counteract hostile assault and sabotage groups, as well as more powerful forces if the enemy decides to apply them. Each component of Ukraine's defense forces has its own defense strip and strengthens positions to ensure an effective restraint in all areas.
