A new mobilization bill: who of Ukrainian women is obliged to put on military accounting since January 1

On December 3, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved as a basis in the first reading of the bill # 12076, which states that if a woman has expressed a desire to serve in the Armed Forces, she should put on military records of conscripts and undergo basic military training. All their data will be in the military register, and after the future serviceman finishes the passage of BZVP, will automatically become a conscript.

Since there is no gender division in the Constitution of Ukraine, all the duties of men to the state in a special military period will be automatically relevant for women. However, the mobilization law does not oblige women to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Ukrainianka can sign a contract of Ukrainian. The mobilization of women in Ukraine is impossible, so only women who have made such a decision can become part of the Armed Forces.

Ukrainian women who have medical or pharmaceutical education and have reached the age of 18 years should have a military registration document. This applies to all women and pharmacists from 18 to 60 years of age, which are suitable for service for health reasons. The personal data of such specialists will also be entered in the Register, but at the moment, this does not mean automatic military service for the girl.

From January 1, 2025, the forced mobilization of women in Ukraine is not planned - a list of professions, or more precisely, specialties of medical and pharmaceutical universities, after which a woman should be on military records, made for another reason.
