In the midst of the working day, the cafe's contractor of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Stanislav Ionkin rested. The fire spread quickly and not everyone was able to evacuate. As a result, 13 people were killed. It is noted that for his trick, the Russian occupier received 20 years behind bars.
Yonkin's relatives said that he returned from Ukraine shortly before that he participated in hostilities and was injured. After the fire, the owner of the premises and the director of the cafe was also arrested in the cafe. They are accused of violating fire safety requirements that caused the death of people.
