The Ukrainian soldiers use 240 mm M-240 on the battlefield, which was manufactured in the 1950s. This was reported in the Vae Victis telegram. It is reported that the mortar was photographed in the south of Ukraine. The M-240 shoots 130 kilograms of up to 19 km, if you shoot managed mines with a special combat part.

Ordinary fugas mines F-864 are stunning targets at a distance of up to 9650 meters. 240 mm mortar does not differ in high speed. In a minute, it shoots only one mine because the installation is not mechanized. All operations should be done manually, and for charging the barrel should be transferred to a horizontal position and re -rented. It is known that 329 mortars were released. According to Ukraine Weapons Tracker analysts, it was not known that M-240 was in long-term storage in Ukraine.
