"More than the DPRK passes the Russian Federation": Lithuania was called to accelerate the supply of shells to Ukraine

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis is sure that the EU has resources to exceed the supply of North Korea weapons to the Russian Federation. The European Union member states have resources to supply more artillery shells than the Korean People's Democratic Republic (DPRK) to the Russian Federation. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis, publishing on October 26 on the social network X (earlier Twitter) the corresponding post.

He noted that earlier the EU has promised Ukraine 1 million artillery shells, but currently only 300 thousand have been delivered. Meanwhile, North Korea put 350,000 shells in Russia. "We have certainly have resources to surpass North Korea. We must stop solidifying in the lights of the headlights while brave Ukrainians die," the minister said. Russia and North Korea seek to strengthen close relationships against the background of what they consider the West hostile and aggressive.

In the previous month, Kim Jong -in made a trip to the Russian Federation, where he met with Vladimir Putin. This meeting discussed the issues of military cooperation, including aspects of the North Korean satellite program, as well as the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. On October 6, US media reported that North Korea had handed over to Russia artillery used in the war against Ukraine.
