"Attacks without support in the forehead": in ISW explained what "meat storms" of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were

The new report states that the storm detachments "Storm-Z" in the Avdiivsky direction and on the southern flank of Bakhmut are often destroyed in a few days of active actions, they lose from 40 to 70% of personnel on average. Russian troops continue to use the storm units of "Storm-Z" for frontal assaults under the guidance of more professional infantry. Analysts from the American Institute for War Study (ISW) reported this.

The report of October 30 states that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation prepare for "meat storms" near Avdiivka. Russian sources reported that it was an offensive of the infantry without covering artillery. According to one of the Russian troops, when two shelves side by side carry out "meat storms", the seam between the zones of responsibility of both remains unprotected and vulnerable to Ukrainian counterattack.

Another militarycolor stated that the storm detachments of "Storm-Z" in the Avdiivsky direction and on the southern flank of Bakhmut are often destroyed in a few days of active action, on average they lose from 40 to 70%. He also criticized the military training of recruits and the unwillingness of the command to take this into account when setting tasks.

According to the military, "Storm-Z" is often put into battle before reconnaissance or communication with neighboring units and usually evacuate the wounded. Artillery does not cover them, and therefore they suffer high losses. Another militaryman stated that these factors contribute to the fact that "Storm-Z" servicemen turn into "garbage" before they achieve at least some results.

Recall that the commander of the Intelligence Unit of the Armed Forces Denis Yaroslavsky said on October 30, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were used under Kupyansk chemical weapons. According to him, the use of weapons banned on the battlefield is recorded the second day in a row. Ukrainian defenders begin to complicate breathing and burns. Also, Major-General Viktor Khorenko, the commander of the SCO, told which "noisy" attacks his fighters put his hand.
