Switzerland will represent the interests of Ukrainians illegally exported to the Russian Federation - Foreign Ministry of Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, headed by Minister Dmitry Kuleba, makes every effort to protect the interests of Ukrainian citizens in Russia. This was reported by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko in a comment to NV. He emphasized that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, who were illegally taken to their territory, need help. Many were left without documents.

On behalf of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reached an agreement with Switzerland on representing Ukrainian interests in Russia. The choice in favor of Switzerland was made through extensive experience in performing such functions. “The modality of representation of Switzerland of Ukraine's interests in the Russian Federation will be determined by a bilateral agreement.

At the same time, according to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the host party should be given to Switzerland's interests in Russia, ”Nikolenko said. He also reminded that there are no Ukrainian diplomatic institutions in the Russian Federation. Russian invaders export Ukrainians to Russia and pseudo -republics, blocking Ukrainian humanitarian corridors and creating filtration camps.

The Independent reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered to be sent to remote corners of the country, including to Siberia and for the Polar Circle, almost 100,000 Ukrainians who were forcibly taken to Russia. On June 20, Vice Prime Minister-Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk, referring to Ukrainian intelligence data, stated that Russia had forcibly deported 1 million 200 thousand Ukrainian citizens into its territory.
