Hides close to the front: the media found another A-50 aircraft at the airport in the Russian Federation (photo)

Getting to the A-50 aircraft near the front line is not easy. It is necessary to either swim Crimea or to fly the occupied territories. The Russian command moved a shortage of a distant radar detection (DRLV) A-50 at a flyer in Taganrog in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. The aircraft regularly land and flies to the local airfield. Satellite photos depicting a spy aircraft were found by journalists of the Project "Schemes", told the Telegram channel "Radio Liberty".

Journalists received two satellite photographs in Taganrog. In the photo - parking of Russian aircraft. The first image was made on February 28, 2024 above the point with coordinates 47 ° 11 ′ 45 ″ N, 38 ° 51 ′ 50 ″ E, and the A-50 aircraft in the photo is not visible. The second photo was taken on February 29, 2024. At a point with coordinates 47 ° 11 ′ 53 ″ N, 38 ° 51 ′ 55 ″ E you can see the outlines of a spy aircraft.

The post states that the aircraft is not first stationed in the specified area in Taganrog. In particular, previous cases where it was noticed there - September 2023 and February 15, 2024. Such movements indicate that the aircraft is in working order and is actively used. It should be noted that the location of the A-50-the airfield "Taganrog-South", quite near-Taganrog Mechanical College, and 4 km north-Taganrog military aircraft.

The estimated distance from the aircraft parking, worth $ 350 million, to the territory controlled by Ukraine - about 130 km. However, in order to get there, you will have to overcome the occupied territories or move on the Crimea on the Black and Azov Seas. It should be noted that in February 2024 the Russians lost two A-50 aircraft at once. The first aircraft was knocked down on February 14 above the Azov Sea.

Together with him, the IL-22 air command post was injured from the unknown projectile, which was able to reach the airport and still did not break. The second A-50 aircraft was knocked down from Eya on February 23. The locals showed a large fire at the site of the fall, as well as separate debris. Subsequently, the satellite barrels of the fall site appeared: they noticed a burned field with an area of 45 acres.

Military experts cannot determine exactly what weapons they got on Russian aircraft. Among the versions is the Western Patriot Complex or the Improved Soviet C-200. Meanwhile, the military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko estimated that the enemy lost three precious planes, and three more has a non -working condition. According to indicative estimates of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, only 2-3 aircraft can be raised in intelligence.
