Learning during the war: how to gather a safety backpack for a child - the Ministry of Health (infographics)

The ministry believes that the safety backpack that the child will keep at school should take into account not only the basic security component, but also the caring. The new academic year, like the past, began in the conditions of war and constant air anxiety. The threats of shelling and staying in repositories become a common element of the educational process. How parents to support a child when they are at school were advised at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"If parents or guardians understand how to support a child at school, then at school your child will be in the company of peers and teachers, so it is important that the child does not worry that she is without his important adults," the MoH says. To create comfortable conditions during air anxiety, the department is advised to explain to them what will happen at school.

The child should understand that even when there are no parents nearby, there will be a teacher or a curator whose instructions should be clearly followed. "Additionally, we advise you to collect a safety backpack that the child will keep at school and take into account not only the basic security component, but also the caring component," the ministry added.

Add to the safety backpack those things that will help the child get away from the alarming situation and remind the love and care of relatives. It can be: be sure to put some thing that reminds your child about loved ones: collecting a student's safety backpack, pay attention to that his weight is lifted for the child.
