At the same time, in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, it was stated that in the Kupyansk direction of the last day there were six attackers of the invaders, and the Ukrainian forces of defense reflected the assault actions of the enemy in the districts of Kupyansk, Sand, Stepova Novoselivka and Petropavlovka.

According to the General Staff, the enemy also struck numerous aviation and artillery strikes in the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, including Yurev, Konstantinovka, Mykolaivka, Siversk, Magdalinovka, Novoandrievka and Mykolaivka in Kherson region. Ukrainian troops continue to restrain the enemy's offensive and inflict significant losses in living strength, technique and drones.

Yet, according to DeepState analysts, Ukrainian troops were able to reject the enemy near several settlements in Donetsk, including a new chess, gold well, Kucherov Yar and Novopavlivka. At the same time, experts point out that the situation in these areas remains extremely tense, and Russian troops continue the assault and partially advanced in some areas, including in Kucherov Yar and near Shakhovoy.

Analysts emphasize that, despite the success of the Ukrainian units, the fighting remains intense, and control of some positions is not yet stable. It should be reminded that, according to Politico, the Russian army loses thousands of soldiers in battles every day, which do not bring significant territorial achievements, and attempts to replenish troops do not compensate for the losses.
