At night, Ukraine hit the Russian Federation with the "Long Neptune" at a distance of 1,000 km: Zelenskyi showed footage of the launch (video)

Share: Ukraine used the Long Neptune cruise missile to attack military facilities of the Russian Federation. The missile flies at a distance of up to 1,000 km and has a warhead weighing 260 kg. Meanwhile, on the night of November 14, an oil terminal in Novorossiysk and an air defense installation in the Krasnodar Territory exploded. "Neptune" missiles are the Ukrainians' response to Russian terror, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on the Telegram channel.

The head of state specified that strikes on military facilities of the Russian Federation take place every month, are effective and are becoming more and more accurate. The president also published a video of the launch of the "long Neptune": on the recording, you can see details of the launcher, which is standing on a field in an unspecified area.

Zelensky's post appeared on the morning of November 14, after a massive missile-drone attack by the Russian Armed Forces, in which the Russians used Iskanders, Daggers, Calibers and Zircons. The president announced the downing of 14 missiles, two of them aeroballistic and six ballistic using the Patriot air defense system and "some other systems. " Meanwhile, at night, Ukraine used its own long-range weapons to harm the aggressor country, the post says.

"This night, our soldiers successfully used the Long Neptunes on specified targets on Russian territory, and this is our completely fair response to the ongoing Russian terror. Ukrainian missiles actually produce more tangible and accurate results every month," Zelenskyy wrote. The head of state did not specify which targets the Neptune missiles hit on the night of November 14. Meanwhile, Focus wrote about the night attack on Russian strategic objects, which took place from November 13 to 14.

Footage of the explosions from the seaport of Novorossiysk appeared on the network: it was, as explained by OSINTers, about the Sheskharis oil terminal being hit. "Sheskharis" is the point at which the Transneft pipeline, through which Russian oil goes for export, ends. In addition, a military unit was under attack, in which an air defense installation could be blown up.

OSINT-analysts of the "Cyberboroshno" project wrote that it was a hit on the S-300/400 anti-aircraft missile system located in military unit 1537 - the location of the Kuban anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Red Banner. The coordinates of the hit are 44. 6639673, 37. 7818429. On the morning of November 14, the Russian authorities confirmed the destruction of targets in Novorossiysk. The local operational headquarters reported the fall of debris and damage to the ship in the port.

The distance from the Ukrainian territory to the possible impact points of the "Long Neptunes" is about 600 km (as the crow flies). "Neptun" is a cruise missile of Ukrainian production, which was first used as an anti-ship missile, and during the war it was modified for strikes against ground targets. "Long Neptune" is one of the modifications that flies 1000 km, has a warhead weighing 260 kg, physical dimensions - 6 m long, 50 cm in diameter.
