Separately, the report stated that another armor -pierce was created on the base of the 12. 7x108 mm, which could allegedly affect the Western sample armored vehicles with increased protection at a distance of 100 meters.
However, "militaristic" states that the transition to one -component steel balls has its disadvantages. In particular, the barrel is at times faster. The multicomponent ball has a copper shell together with a solid core. This provides a "soft" passage of the ball through the barrel channel. Therefore, a new ammunition will lead to a rapid fall in accuracy and weapon.
