"October 1 will change." The Council Committee supported the Voluntary Military Accounting of Women

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense on Monday, September 5, supported in the first reading the bill on the voluntariness of women's military accounting in Ukraine. The People's Deputy Roksolana Podlas wrote about it on Facebook. Her colleague Marian Bezlagla said that the Committee decided to support the voluntariness of women's military accounting by proposing a variant of legislative changes to the Council.

Video of the Day of the Ministry of Defense for the protocol indicated that the date on October 1, 2022 would be changed in any case, "she added. Earlier, the Minister of Defense Oleksiy Kopytko said on Facebook that in December 2021 the Ministry of Defense had postponed the order by October 1, 2022 and sent a letter to the Parliament to the draft law, which proposes to make records voluntary. “The calculation was that by October 1, amendments would be amended.

After that, the General Staff calmly saves all the procedures, prepares answers and more. Because tens of thousands of women still serve voluntarily, many are registered. There is no higher mathematics. You just need to unscrew the formalities. However, a full -scale invasion began, which clearly influenced the work of the Council, ”he wrote.

The adviser also assured that even if the Council does not have time to pass the law until October 1, the timing of the accounting will be postponed, and there will be no restrictions on the departure of women from the country from October 1. According to the current legislation, from October 1, 2022, representatives of some professions and specialties should be registered (does not mean mobilization). After that, they will also be subject to departure restrictions on them.

This is provided by the Defense Ministry No. 313, but they want to change the rules. Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar reported that the agency had submitted to the Verkhovna Rada proposals for changes to the legislation on the voluntary registration of women of the respective specialties on registration. According to her, there is no urgent need to increase the number of women in military accounting in Ukraine.
