India ordered an additional C-400 batch in the Russian Federation: analysts explained what it means

To spread: the Government of India has stated that it was convinced of the effectiveness of Russian anti-aircraft missile complexes C-400, and therefore plans to order a new air defense party in Moscow. Delhi assures that the C-400 worked perfectly during Pakistan's air strike. At the same time, analysts found other causes related to losses during hostilities. The reasons for India's decision to buy new C-400 were written on the Defense Express portal.

The portal drew attention to the publication of the media today, which communicated with anonymous sources in the Indian government. Sources have stated that Delhi ordered additional platforms of air defense in Moscow. The interlocutors of journalists said that Russia has not responded yet, but the answer is waiting from day to day. At the same time, DE noted some strange signs in the actions of Indian government officials.

The portal analysts recalled that the Russian Federation has an unfinished contract with India for the supply of C-400. In this regard, there were two questions. The first question is whether the C-400 is as effective as Delhi officially states. The second is whether such urgency is related to the lack of air defense. The DE article explained what Delhi's desire to buy new C-400 could say and how it is related to the war of India and Pakistan.

"It is likely that they cannot yet implement their Project Kusha within a specified timeframe," DE summed up, noting that India will work with the Russian Federation openly without fear of sanctions. It should be noted that Focus wrote about the contract for the C-400, concluded between India and the Russian Federation. The agreement was signed in 2018. The Russians undertook to produce five SPRs worth $ 5. 43 billion. The term of execution of the contract is 2023.
