Energy support and strengthening of sanctions against the Russian Federation: Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Fumio Kishida

In the fields of the UN General Assembly, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. And this award is not only from me - from all the Ukrainian people. We are very grateful for such strong support for Ukraine, Ukrainians from the very beginning of a full -scale invasion, ”the President said.

Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Japan for financial and humanitarian aid worth more than 12 billion euros, as well as for supporting sanctions against the Russian Federation. The head of state emphasized that it is important to continue to work on blocking all the sparin that Russia uses to bypass sanctions. Discussion is cooperation with partners in G7 and the EU to create a practical mechanism that will allow you to get $ 50 billion at the expense of frozen Russian assets.
