NASA launched rockets into a polar glow: a colorful light show arose in the sky (photo)

To spread: The American Space Agency has launched two probe missiles in the polar glow in the sky above Alaska to study the effects of geomagnetic light shows on the upper layers of the Earth's atmosphere. Space writes about it. Scientists from Alaska University in Ferbanx, together with NASA, have launched a Polar glow in the sky on Awesome experiment, where the Polar glow emerged, two sensing missiles on March 25. In focus. Technology has appeared its Telegram channel.

Subscribe not to miss the latest and most intrusive news from the world of science! When two rockets were high in the sky, they released gas clubs, known as steam trusts that created colorful light shows visible in most of Northern Alaska. According to NASA, the movements of these steam trusts can be registered and studied from the ground, using them to measure atmospheric winds and streams of charged particles in the upper layers of the atmosphere of our planet.

The first was launched 13-meter Terrier-IIPROVED malemute rocket. Shortly afterwards, a 21-meter four-stage Black Brant XII rocket was launched. These missiles have released steam tractors and pressure sensors at different altitudes during a sudden magnetospheric subbur, which is a short -term enhancement of the brightness of the polar glow. The rockets also measured the perturbation in the Earth's magnetic field caused by the Arctic Glow.

Small freely flying devices released during the experiment will help to evaluate how the energy of magnetic subburies can disrupt the stability of the middle and lower layers of the Earth's atmosphere. Understanding the interaction between the upper atmosphere of the Earth and the polar glows that result from the entry into the atmosphere of charged particles of the sun, which interact with the magnetic field and the atmosphere of the Earth, can help to improve the prediction of cosmic weather.

Scientists also planned to launch a third probe rocket-a two-stage Terrier-IMPROVED Malemute rocket, but the launch was postponed due to engine problems. This rocket is planned to be launched until April 6. This rocket is expected to launch additional tractors that should be released at dawn so that sunlight can activate steam tractors until it is dark enough on the ground so that the cameras can remove their reaction to the air movement.

As the focus has already written, NASA will now use a huge Ilona Mask Mask for space. The US Space Agency has officially included in the list of future launches into space, the largest and most powerful rocket in the world called Starship, created by SpaceX Ilon Mask. Focus also wrote that astronomers found a new super-land where there is water.
