Kovalenko explained that during the war the forces of Ukraine were adapted to the destruction of mechanized columns and armored vehicles, but have not yet found the optimal methods for causing large -scale losses in the enemy's living power. According to experts, the FPV-drone rate has played a twofold role: the technique was to destroy more efficiently, but the methods of systemic infantry depletion have not yet been properly integrated.

Particular attention is paid to Kovalenko's comment on a sustained trend: the Russian troops in Russian troops of killed stablely exceeding the wounded 2-3 times. Such anomalous disproportion is explained by both the tactics of the use of troops and the limited capabilities of evacuation and medical support. The losses of Russians in tanks (VTT) and combat armored vehicles (BBM) also show extremely low performance.

But this is not the result of maintaining equipment, but an indicator of its deficit - the Russian army is not able to compensate for monthly losses of armored vehicles, so the rigid "savings" of the remaining machines are used. By the end of 2025, Kovalenko believes, a deficiency of artillery will be added to the crisis with VTT and BBM - both trunk and reactive, which has already begun to manifest itself. Against the background of saving armored vehicles, the role of road transport increases.

Because of this, the loss of trucks and other auxiliary equipment in August can enter the top 3 for the entire full-scale invasion. Thus, the reduction of armored vehicles and artillery inevitably shifts the emphasis on the Russian army for mass use of living force. The expert predicts that already in 2026 Russia will move to the "March Battalion" format of more than 700 thousand servicemen.
