Journalists noted that events in Russian regions bordering Ukraine increase the cost of a full -scale invasion for the Kremlin. At Belgorod and Kursk regions, attacks were increased with the help of unmanned aircraft and rockets. The media stressed that Ukraine allegedly conducts a campaign aimed at infrastructure and industrial facilities in the Russian Federation, including oil enterprises. This is necessary to "blow up the military car of Russia".
On March 12, Russian volunteers broke through the border and entered the territory of Belgorod and Kursk regions. It is about fighters from the departments of the Russian Volunteer Corps, the Legion "Freedom of Russia", "Siberian Battalion". Later, volunteers from Ichkeria joined them. On March 20, Russian volunteers turned to the governor of Belgorod region Gladkov and called on the evacuation of civilians from the region.
According to them, strikes for military purposes in the region increase, and shelling does not stop. On March 19, the Deputy Commander of the Liberty of Russia in the Tzar military-civilian cooperation reported that the armed forces of the Russian Federation had lost about 1,500 soldiers, dozens of vehicles and weapons. He noted that the enemy was forced to transfer elite units to the areas where there are collisions with volunteers.
