Op is sure that the Russian Federation stands for a coup in Niger: in the White House they don't see evidence

According to the adviser to OP Mikhail Podolyak, the support of events in Niger in two countries-Mali and Burkina Faso-confirms that the Russian Federation has a global script to undermine the existing world order. The adviser to the chairman of the OP Mikhail Podolyak stated that it is obvious that the so -called military coup in Niger was organized by Russia. In this, he said, the typical tactics of Russian special services: to distract and take advantage of the possibility of the fallen.

He wrote about it on Twitter. After the Russia-Africa summit, they suggested that a military coup in Niger in the interests of the Russian Federation in the region. On August 1, the situation in the rebellious Niger has gained new development. France and Italy reported plans to export their citizens from the country. In turn, the UK government advises to refrain from traveling to the African country.

The coup, according to journalists, is supported by two Western African countries-Mali and Burkina Faso. In addition, both voted against the UN resolutions, which condemn the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. And last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised them free grain.

According to Podolyak, the support of the two countries reinforces the assumption that the Russian Federation has a global scenario to provoke instability and undermine the global world order and a situation with security. Washington believes that there are no signs of Russian involvement in Niger's events, and the UN also adhere to this line.

On August 1, US National Security Council, John Kirby, said the White House does not believe that Russia somehow provides effective support for a coup in Niger. On July 26, 2023, the military from the National Guard of Niger detained the President of the country Mohammed Basum. Another group of military stated that it was overthrown. The borders were closed, the work of the states stopped and declared a curfew.
