According to him, as part of the reorganization, it is planned to reduce the number of management objects that are directly subordinated to a particular army corps. In this case, the level of operational-strategic grouping of troops (Osvu) remains, and the level of operational-tactical groups (OTU) should gradually be eliminated.

Oleksandr Syrsky noted that the first stage of the departments of army corps with the provision units has already completed combat coordination and accepted their lanes with a certain assembly of troops. In the future, all the buildings will take their strips. First of all, he added, it is more effective use of all available forces and means, increasing the number of units of unmanned systems and optimizing the distribution of artillery.

Syrsky expressed his hope that the reorganization would make it possible to use more rationally servicemen who directly perform combat tasks and create more capable reserves. "To be able to perform active counter -offensive and offensive actions," the Armed Forces Head explained. He said that the commanders of the corps were allowed to pick up their own deputies, which led to the rejuvenation of the operational leadership of the army.

"The vast majority of corps commanders are the former commanders of the brigades, who were distinguished on the battlefield. Their deputies, headquarters are the same," Syrsky said, calculating that such changes will increase the efficiency of military units, reducing the loss of Ukrainians and increasing the volume of destroyed enemies.

We will remind, in November last year it became known that in the defense forces plan to introduce divisions and buildings, abandoning the operational-strategic and operational-tactical groups of troops. In this way, command expects to save people and material resources.
