The captain was drunk: two tankers collided on the river in Russia - Roszmi (video)

At the time of the accident, according to journalists, the captain of one of the ships was drunk, and the collision led to the fact that up to 90 tons of gasoline got into the water. Two tankers collided on the Lena River in the Irkutsk region. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department of Transport. "The collision was damaged by gasoline tank, some of the fuel got into the river. There are no victims," the press release said.

The clash occurred in the area of the village of Oleksiivska Irkutsk region. The TR-901 tanker collided, which was repaired in the port and the TR-900 Tanker "Yerofey Khabarovsk", which transported 832 tons of gasoline.

Brotherly investigative department of transport conducts an investigation under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code (violation of requirements in the field of transport safety) and Article 246 of the Criminal Code (violation of the rules of environmental protection during work). Investigators and criminalists work at the scene. They carry out a complex of investigative and other procedural actions invested in establishing all the circumstances of the event.

Baza, in turn, claims that the captain of one of the ships at the time of the accident was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, so the tank was managed by his assistant. Recall that the Russian state shipbuilding company United Shipbuilding Corp (USC) ends in engines. Because of this, it cannot produce tankers and vessels necessary for the transportation of oil and cargo. It also became known that Russia has now been forced to supply its oil at much more distances - to India and China.
