Mariupol Genocide and Skovoroda-Hipster: an exhibition dedicated to the war with the Russian Federation (photo) opened in Kiev

In total, about three hundred works of domestic painters and sculptors are presented at the exhibition "Ukraine from Tripoli to the present". The capital's exposition "Ukraine from Tripoli to the present" in the house of the artist, which opened in December, showed a number of interesting works, where our creators show their vision of a new round of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which took place after February 24.

The exposition presents about three hundred works of domestic painters and sculptors from different regions of our country. On the general background, Anatoly Bush sculpture dedicated to Mariupol genocide is distinguished. The cycle of different portraits of Gregory Skovoroda, dedicated to his 300th anniversary, also attracts attention.

As well as portraits of representatives of the Armed Forces, the symbolic embodiment of Ukrainian military prowess and the imagination of our creators on the topic of Casimir Malevich. The exhibition was constantly scattered, because this first exposition, where many works on the topic of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Right at the entrance, Shevchuk's painting "Sunflower Sower" is a symbolic or even mythological warrior of Ukraine, who has a bulletproof vest, falote on his hand, and behind his back - "Javelin" - an American portable anti -tank rocket complex. But at the same time he is busy quite peaceful - sows space sunflowers. The picture emphasizes that the Armed Forces performs its duty to protect the Motherland, but for the sake of peace.

There are two portraits of Kovtun artist - Rudobugoard Sagittarius Sergiy Zvazhanov. He is a grandeur and article-not a mythological warrior-sowing, especially on his shoulders of RPG. With a fraction of humor, the canvas of Dpanevich-Potafieva "In battle goes by some seals", where a real cat sits on the shoulders of the Marpich ("Kotika"). The project called "Rashist Genocide of Ukraine. " Mariupol "Anatoly Kushche, the author of sculptures on our Independence Square, caused great interest in the public. Anatoly Fedirko has long combined in his work suprematism and Christian religion. At the exhibition two of his installations, "Our Lady" and "Jesus", made in the suprematic style. Many work on exposure is devoted to the 300th anniversary of the philosopher Grigory Skovoroda. One of him was made by our contemporary - he or a hipster (which would be closer, given his free lifestyle) or office worker - in a white shirt, with a fashionable tie ("Kharkiv fables. Eagle and Soroka", Chueva O. ). And other work, on the contrary, emphasizes the scale of his figure and views.

It is a portrait of Skovoroda "catch the elusive" brush Oleg Shulak, where the translucent head of the philosopher "impresses" cosmos. Apparently, the artist wanted to emphasize this work The essence of the philosophical system of Skovoroda: Macrocosm (Universe) - man (microcosm) - a symbolic world of the Bible.

I would like to finish the review of something sweet and peaceful: such a canvas of Yatsenko "Fairytale Kiev Winter", 2022 - probably where a man with a dog looks at the division by the landscape alley.
