The drone that flew to Moldova could be Russian - a spokesman for the country's parliament

Power has not yet been able to determine the type of a flying object that forced to close the airspace of Moldova. Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu assumes that it was a drone or a data collection apparatus. The head of the Parliament of Moldova, Igor Grosz, confirmed that on February 14, a Russian drone flew into the territory of the country. His words are transmitted by the Moldovan edition of Cotidianul. According to Igor Gross, the airspace over Moldova was closed through a Kremlin aircraft.

The speaker stated that the Moldovan authorities received a warning from Ukraine, only then the object was noticed by the National Army. The drone was moving in the southwestern direction, so the Moldovan soldiers warned colleagues from Romania. Igor Gos added that he still does not know which Russian object was in the airspace of Moldova. As he assumes, it could be a drone or reconnaissance that collects any data at a certain height.

"We are in the immediate vicinity of hostilities, so such situations cannot but be reflected, including in neighbors. The object penetrated from Ukraine, from the northern direction," the speaker of Parliament emphasized. "We must be vigilant, be in constant contact with Ukraine and Romania to see if such situations will not be repeated. " On the fourteenth of February, Moldova closed the air space through an unknown object in the sky. The media reported that the drone could fly from Ukraine.

Due to the incident, the airlines had to change the flight schedule. In a few hours, the airspace was opened again. On the same day, MP Andrian Keptonar stated that in Moldova, the entrance of saboteurs from Serbia under the guise of football fans were prevented. They were expected to destabilize the situation in the country. Before that, the NSDC of Ukraine warned that Russia was preparing a coup in Moldova.
