"Ukrainian troops launched a new series of battalion mechanized attacks in the Kursk region and on February 6 advanced to five kilometers deep into Russian positions southeast of Sudzhi," the report reads. Analysts have explained that geolocation shots indicate that the Ukrainian army was so southwest of Makhnivka and north and east of the Cherkasy Konopelka along the 38K-028 Judician.

In addition, according to ISW, the Armed Forces occupied the village of Kolmaks and the settlement of Fanseevka of Kursk region. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that Ukrainian troops attacked several waves in the direction of Cherkasy Konopelka and Ulanok with the involvement of armored vehicles by forces in two mechanized battalions, and that Russian troops repelled the attack.

One of the Russian military bloggers also argued that the Ukrainian forces had seized Cherkasy Konopelka, and some Russian sources claimed that the Ukrainian forces had broken into or even seized it. "Isw has not yet seen geolocation evidence that would allow us to evaluate that the Ukrainian forces are operating in the final," the report reads.

The ISW also noted that there are no reasons to claim the activity of Ukraine near the Kryglyka settlement, which was also approved by Russian military bloggers.
