"It will be a success": Poland's Foreign Ministry spoke about Russia's exclusion from the UN

The Polish Foreign Ministry representative Lukash Yasina suggested holding public debate on the legality of Russia's inclusion in the UN. Polish Foreign Ministry Prescribe Lukash Yasina stated that Ukraine's request to exclude the Russian Federation from the UN is legal. A spokesman told about it on the air of Polish Radio. Lukash Yasina noted that international law provides for the opportunity to exclude states from the United Nations.

Therefore, the requirement of Ukraine for deprivation of Russian membership in the UN is natural. According to the speaker, this issue should be discussed, even if the Russian Federation remains in the organization. Public discussion on the lawfulness of Russia's inclusion in the UN will help to better inform the world community about some events.

"It should be mentioned how Russia has taken this permanent place in the UN Security Council after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and it is worth starting in this forum the debate that Russia is breaking international law and is an aggressor, committing war crimes," Lukash said Yasina. The Polish Foreign Ministry representative is convinced that such measures will help to inform those communities where narratives imposed by Russian media predominate.

"And this will be some success, especially since there are places in the world where Russian propaganda works very well and some do not believe that Russia is an aggressor," the pressecretic said. We will remind that on December 26 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced the initiative designed to deprive the Russian Federation in the UN Security Council. It is also about exclusion of Russia from the UN.
