According to the analyst, in December 2023, on the front, the Armed Forces fighters have an armed truck in the arsenal-an impromptu fighting machine on the basis of KRAZ-255B with a established anti-aircraft gun C-60. It should be noted that the Soviet large tonnage car with a wheel formula 6 × 6 KrAZ-255B is intended for transportation of goods and personnel. Earlier, Focus reported on the implementation of a project in Ukraine on the basis of KRAZ-255B.
Old all -wheel drive trucks were processed into comfortable homes on wheels for the Armed Forces. One of the cars was shown in June 2023 in the center of Kiev near the capital city hall. KrAZ-255B trucks are equipped with a 14. 9-liter 240-horsepower turbo diesel and a full drive 6x6 with differential blocking. The wheel system is also provided. The engine, running and brakes were full of maintenance with the replacement of the worn parts.
