They can direct against Poland: Lukashenko stated that Putin "gave" nuclear missiles to him

According to the Belarusian politician Alexander Lukashenko, the guarantees provided to him in the 1990s were "trampled" and "violated" and that Belarus was forced to return nuclear weapons to his territory. Belarus has received free of charge nuclear missiles of the Iskander complex from Russia at the expense of its financial resources. This was stated by Belarusian politician Alexander Lukashenko during a visit to the Automobile Plant in the Minsk region, quoted by RIA Novosti.

"We must say thank the Russians: they helped us a lot last year. I do not even talk about nuclear weapons here, which put everyone in place . . . We have Russians for their money," however, we pay them for other accounts, "they got such complexes as "Iskander", - said the Belarusian leader. The head of Belarus noted that the use of tactical complexes and nuclear missiles necessarily implies strict adherence to a certain protocol.

In addition, the activation of these weapons requires the receipt of resolutions from several high -ranking officials. Lukashenko has already described the tactical nuclear missiles, which Vladimir Putin intended to be placed in Belarus as "national" or "own". " It is our weapon that will promote sovereignty and independence, "Lukashenko said.

He added that he had ordered the resumption of platforms that housed rockets with nuclear warheads, and after tactical nuclear weapons in case of need of Belarus can be obtained and strategic. We will not stop before protecting our countries, "Lukashenko said. According to Lukashenko, the rocket obtained from Moscow can be directed against Poland, which he accused of planning the invasion of Belarus.

The president noted that the guarantees provided to him in him 1990s, were "trampled" and "violated", which forced Belarus to return nuclear weapons to its territory. In early 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of construction of storage facilities for tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, as well as planned to be re-equipment Air Force for the use of Iskander's missiles.

This decision was presented as a response to the supply of Ukraine with depleted Uranus, which, according to Putin, have some relationship with nuclear technologies. Recall that Russia unfolds nuclear weapons in Belarus near NATO borders to force the Alliance to stop Ukraine.
